John Sullivan

John, originally from Buffalo, NY, began his real estate journey in 2000 after obtaining his license in South Carolina. He built a successful career buying, remodeling, and managing a short-term rental business, while selling villas on Hilton Head Island as a Realtor. With decades of experience, John has honed his expertise in both commercial and residential real estate. John is an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) and a Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS).

Before transitioning full-time into real estate, John served as the president of a waste hauling company in Western New York. After selling his short-term rental business, he owned and operated multiple successful ventures in Buffalo, including selling and servicing medium and heavy-duty trucks for national franchises. He also managed commercial and personal investment real estate, while operating a radiator franchise business.

An aviation enthusiast, John was a commercially rated jet pilot for over 25 years. He also volunteered as a WINGS pilot, offering cost-free flights for patients and their families along the East Coast. In 2019, he hung up his wings but remains passionate about the skies.

A recent transplant to Nashville, John relocated with his wife of over 30 years, Betsy, to be closer to their three adult children. Now settled in Music City, John brings his vast business and real estate experience to help clients with their property needs. He currently serves as a Board Member at Our Lady of Victory Institutions, an organization dedicated to the mission of Venerable Nelson T. Baker in Lackawanna, NY. John is also a certified drone pilot, loves to travel, and enjoys cheering on the Tennessee Titans—though he still roots for the Bills when they’re not playing each other!
